🍓 What’s in season at The Ranch?

Oh, hey, how are you?Â

Me…I’ve been busy.Â
Busy working on a really big international soccer tournament. You might know the one that’s wrapping up this weekend.
One of my work besties started working on this tournament in January 2025. When I heard that, I made a little vision board for my phone and put the tournament on it. Because how cool would it be to work on an event of that size?Â
Fast-forward to February 2026, when I started working as the Ancillary Venues Manager for BaAM Productions—the production company providing infrastructure for this three-nation sporting event.
It has been a wild ride and an absolute pleasure to work with the BaAM team.
Vision boards work, y’all!
As the tournament wraps up, I’m peeking my head back out and putting my focus back on what’s in season at The Ranch. And everything below shares a thread I love: little practices for showing up clear and present.

Chicca's Cooking Club
We’re about to start promoting a new season of the cooking club. The one where my partner, Chicca, teaches live from her kitchen in Tuscany, while I co-host and manage the classes via Zoom for our 150+ members.Â
Want to see what it’s like to cook with us? We’re hosting a free gnocchi class on Sat, August 1.

What's Going Well
Whenever I’m facilitating or working onsite and see a whiteboard, I leave behind one question: What’s going well?
My friend Greg Bell wrote a book about how focusing on what’s going well can begin to change the way your brain is wired for the better.
Check out his book and discover how this one simple question can change everything.

Sticky Note Therapy
Each retreat or facilitation session I host, I always start with Sticky Note Therapy. It’s a way to let go of what might be blocking you from truly showing up.
Here’s how it works:
Grab some sticky notes, and write down anything that is feeling like a barrier to really showing up and
being focused.
Write it down, acknowledge it…then let it go. One item per sticky note. Then slap it on the wall as a metaphorical way of letting that barrier go.
Two Truths and a Lie
Can you spot the lie?
Natural scenery improves your mood and makes you more productive.
Conference room air has been shown to increase innovation by 47%.
A short walk can boost creative thinking by up to 60%.
Send me an email (hello@peachcheesecakeranch.com), and I’ll tell you the lie and send you the documentation to support the truths.

Strawberry Time 🍓
We still have lots of strawberries in the berry patch, so I’ve been making this oh so yummy Strawberry Crisp. For retreats, I came up with the idea of putting them into small, individual 1/2-pint serving jars. The beautiful thing about this recipe is that you can sub just about any in-season berry. If you try it, hit reply and let me know how it turns out.
That’s a little of what’s in season around here. It feels good to be turning my attention back toward The Ranch and maybe even relaxing in one of the red chairs.
